Dr. Brenda Nathanson brings nearly two decades of experience spanning multiple countries. Originating from South Africa, where she earned her bachelor's degree at the University of Witwatersrand, she embarked on a diverse medical journey. Her early career involved delivering babies and performing minor gynaecological surgeries in rural South Africa, sparking her passion for women's health.
Her professional journey continued in the United Kingdom, where she contributed for 12 years across General Practice, Accident and Emergency, and Mental Health services. In London, she earned her Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology through the Royal College and went on to become a partner in a GP practice before a daring move to Australia, prompted by a desire for sunnier skies.
Having worked in regional Queensland for the past 4 years, Dr Brenda has attained her Australian GP Fellowship, achieving distinction as the recipient of the Mary Mahoney Memorial Prize for the top exam candidate in Queensland. Her passion revolves around collaborating with women to optimise their physical and mental well-being through proactive health measures.
