Growing up in a family deeply rooted in podiatry, Niamh Murphy developed her passion for caring for people from an early age. Her parents ran a podiatry clinic in Donegal, where she spent many summers helping in the practice and discovering how rewarding it is to support people in staying active and comfortable on their feet.
Niamh completed her Bachelor’s degree in Podiatric Medicine at Ulster University before beginning her career with the NHS. There, she gained valuable experience in diabetic foot care, wound management, and patient education—areas that continue to guide her approach to podiatry today. She is licensed to practise in both the UK and Ireland and later returned to Donegal to work alongside her family in their established clinic.
Niamh has a strong interest in overall health and well-being. She enjoys staying active through walking, boxing, and exploring the outdoors, and she understands how important comfortable movement is to a person’s quality of life. This drives her commitment to helping patients manage foot concerns and return to the activities they enjoy.
